About Cars R Us
Cars R Us is an independent, family-owned used car dealership located on South Tacoma Way in Tacoma, Washington. We have been part of the local car market since 1998, and today the dealership is operated with a renewed focus on quality, transparency, and a better customer experience.
We are not trying to be the biggest dealership in Washington. That sounds exhausting. We are trying to be the dealership people trust when they want a clean, fairly priced used vehicle and a process that does not waste their entire day.
Every vehicle is inspected and reconditioned before it is listed. We take real photos, provide clear vehicle information, offer financing through outside lenders, and keep communication simple by call, text, or in person.
What changed under new ownership
Cars R Us is now run with a more selective approach to inventory. We are focused on retail-ready vehicles, better photos, clearer online listings, stronger reconditioning standards, and faster follow-up.
The goal is simple: sell cars we can stand behind and earn repeat customers instead of chasing one-time transactions.
How we choose inventory
We look for vehicles that make sense for Tacoma drivers: reliable commuters, practical SUVs, trucks, hybrids, first-time buyer cars, and clean specialty vehicles when the right ones come along.
Before a vehicle goes online, we want it inspected, reconditioned, detailed, photographed, and ready for a real customer to see.
